You can delete your Sip Journal account, and all of the data saved in it, at any time. There are two ways to do it: in the app, which takes effect straight away, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Sip Journal and sign in.
  2. On the Home screen, tap Your Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete your account.
  5. If you are asked to confirm who you are, do so: enter your password if you signed up with email, or choose your Google account if you use Google Sign-In.

Your account and all of its data are then permanently deleted.

Option 2: Ask us by email

Send an email to support@mtgtechnical.com:

We will delete your account and all of its data within 30 days of receiving your request.

What is deleted

Deleting your account, by either method, permanently deletes:

What is kept

Nothing. We do not keep any of your data after your account is deleted, except where we are legally required to. Any copy left in a backup is removed as that backup rolls off, within 30 days. Crash reports contain no personal content and are not linked to your account, so they cannot be looked up by account; Firebase Crashlytics deletes them automatically after 90 days.

Deleting your Sip Journal account does not delete your Google account. The bean finder, brew guides and equipment catalogue are shared reference content that contains none of your data, so they are not affected.
